Summary :      Maintains the General Ledger, account reconciliations, and reporting requirements for all management and tax authorities.  
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 
1. Examines reports of daily transactions for accuracy.
2. Consolidates and balances daily transactions.
3. Reviews general ledger transactions for accuracy from all sources.
3. Maintain general ledger account reconciliations and supporting ledgers.
4. Prepares financial reports and management reports on a timely basis.
5. File all financial reports and tax reports accurately and timely.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Due to the many variables that affect Winter resort operations, such as weather and number of guests, occasionally employees may be asked to perform other duties or assist in efforts outside their primary area of responsibility as needed, including performing in any subordinate position.
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  No direct supervisory duties.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:  Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software and Word Processing software.

            While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
            This is a Winter Resort Area. It requires that work venues are varied and in many cases include steep stairways and multi-level buildings. Walking surfaces are frequently frozen, sloped and slippery. Proper footwear is a must, indoors and out. Work days and hours, as well as the number of hours required will vary, with an emphasis on weekends and holidays.
